Our "cool" new grandson |
"Jesus called a little child to Him and put the child among them. Then He said, 'I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.'" (Matt. 18:2-4)
One of our daughters-in-law teaches preschool. Last week, a little girl overheard her say, "I want a son." The child then stood up, put her hands on her hips, and said, "Miss Amanda, you just need to ask God for a son, and He'll give you one."
Everyday, you're invited to come with confidence to God's throne of grace, so that you may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Heb. 4:16). Have you R.S.V.Ped today?
"This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him." (1 John 5:14-15)
