Thief in the Night!

"Suspicious" tracks on our deck steps

"Now concerning how and when all this will happen, 
dear brothers and sisters, we don't really need to 
write you. For you know quite well that the 
day of the Lord's return will come unexpectedly, 
like a thief in the night."

Yesterday, I filled our bird feeders.

"Undeniable evidence!"

This morning, they were empty!

Even though I didn't see the robber with my eyes, I present to you undeniable evidence that our thief in the night was the notorious renegade:

Even though I haven't seen the Lord with my eyes, His tracks across my heart are undeniable evidence that Jesus is real. 

Historical, Scriptural, and indisputable evidence prove that Christ came to earth over two thousand years ago, fulfilled His Savior mission, and will one day return as King of kings and Lord of lords!

Therefore, beloved, live in holy conduct and godliness in eager expectation of the Day!

"But the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along...we are looking forward to the new heavens and earth He has promised, a world filled with God's righteousness!"
