"[God] comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, He brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us." (2 Cor. 1:4 The Message)

In 1988, after a failed business in Louisiana, the Lord came alongside my family and got us back on our feet. A couple of years later, He called us to "Succoth" - a ministry in Arkansas, which provided temporary shelter for homeless families.

In hard times, beloved? Rest assured; the Lord walks alongside you. Been through hard times, beloved? Come alongside someone else in need.
