Muscle, Bone, Nerve, or the Devil

"...listen to Me. Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Don't be scared. Don't be afraid. Don't panic or be terrified by them. The LORD your God is going with you. He'll fight for you. He'll help you win the battle over your enemies." (Deut. 20:3-4 NIRV)

Yesterday, back and chest pains, shortness of breath, and an elevated blood pressure sent me to the ER in the wee hours of the morning. A clear chest X-ray, CT scan, and heart catheterization ruled out heart or lung problems, narrowing the perpetrator field to muscle, bone, nerve, or that tricky ol' serpent, the devil. No matter the what or the who of the problem, the Lord God is with me and will fight for me.

In a battle, beloved? Victory is in the Lord Jesus. He saves you from your enemies and keeps you safe from attackers (Psalm 59:1).
