I, Jill Watson Glassco, of Birmingham, Alabama, on this 30th day of December in the year of our Lord two-thousand sixteen, do hereby resolve from this day forward to abstain from New Year's resolutions. 

The said party, being of sound mind, resolves, determines, earnestly intends, in lieu of New Year's Resolutions for 2017, to seek the new year's God-assignments in their stead and for each subsequent year after as long as the said party shall live.
