Jesus came as a babe in a lowly manger to Bethlehem; He will one day return as King to Jerusalem, and God's glorious presence will bless His people and the holy city.
I confess that a few Santa decorations sprinkle our home, but Christ is the heart of our CHRISTmas - the perfect season to pray, as God instructed, for Jerusalem:
"Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. O Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces." (Psalm 122:6-7)
Beloved, let us pray.
