Off to Work We Go

"Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor." (Proverbs 12:24)

When the 5-year-old grandboy was at our house the other day, I asked him if he'd like to go bike riding. He answered, "No, I wanna work. I like work." 

And work he did! 

All afternoon.

Pulling weeds.

Trimming bushes.

Watering flowers.

Folding clothes.

When we were done, he said, "What else to you have for me to do, Memaw?"

According to the Proverbs of Solomon, that boy will rule one day.
