Humble Yourself

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time." (1 Peter 5:6-7)

The best picture of humility that I can think of is our sweet Bell —meek, respectful, submissive, quick to forgive, eager to please, and putting her masters' needs before her own. 

God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Beloved, humble yourself before the Lord, and He will lift you up (James 4:6, 10).
