Follow

Husband, LOVE your wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. PURSUE her in love as you did when you first loved her, and LEAD her down paths of righteousness for Christ's name sake!

Wife, RESPECT your husband as the God-ordained leader of your home. RESPOND to him in love and respect. Encourage him as your leader and FOLLOW him respectfully.

It's not a suggestion, beloved. It's God's command.
