Our sweet Bell
"No discipline seems pleasant at the time but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed." (Hebrews 12:11-13)
Well, grandma got run over by a Labrador. 😀 Our sweet Bell was overly excited and ran full steam ahead into my left leg. The good news is that my ACL is not torn, and I don't need surgery. Thank You, Lord Jesus! (The not-so-good news is that my leg is broken, and I'll be on crutches for six weeks.)
The great news is that God uses the school of hard knocks to train and grow His children. Are you in a school of hard knocks, beloved? Trust the Lord, and focus on what God is doing in you more than what is happening to you.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
