Like the Martins

"And there was a prophetess, Anna...She never left the temple, serving night and day with fastings and prayers." (Luke 2:26-37)

Phillip and I love sitting in the swing on the riverbank this time of year and watching the Martins. From the first light of dawn till darkness falls, these selfless servants glide over the river again and again and again gathering insects and feeding their nestlings.

Lord Jesus, please help me selflessly serve others like the Martins and like You.
