Wrestling the Prince of Darkness

“Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against…powers, against the rulers of darkness…spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Eph. 6:10-12 NIV)

           

           

Thought for the day:

In these verses, God warns that Christians are in a daily spiritual battle with the devil: our enemy of darkness. God reveals that we can protect and defend ourselves with truth, faith, righteousness, the gospel, and salvation, and we can victoriously attack the enemy with God’s Word and prayer!

Application:

1.              Read Eph. 6:12. Our struggle is not against people but against what?
