"The Nativity" by Jon McNaughton
"...HOPE does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us...God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having been justified (just-as-if-I-never-sinned) by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him!" (Rom. 5:5,8-9)
Story of HOPE:
Of all my Christmases, the very Christmas morning that my parents chose to give us a wooden, flyer sled, it SNOWED (a rare phenomenon for sure in Alabama, I might add)!
And, at the appointed, most-perfect moment, "when the fulness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, 'Abba! Father!'" (Gal. 4:4-6)
O Abba Father, thank You for Jesus - Your indescribable GIFT!
