Two Thumbs Up for "War Room"

"Do not be afraid...remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses." (Neh. 4:14) "Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day...stand firm...with all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit...be on the alert with all perseverance..." (Eph. 6:13-18)



When our Dan came home from Iraq in 2009, the enemy stormed in like a raging army and almost destroyed his marriage. As a family, however, we fought the war on our knees before God's throne of grace. Praise be to Jesus Christ; He gave the victory!


Last night, superman and I went to see the new movie, War Room - a Sony Pictures Entertainment release produced and directed by Stephen and Alex Kendrick. In the story, Elizabeth (Priscilla Shirer) and Tony (T.C. Stallings) Jordan's marriage is on the rocks. When Elizabeth crosses paths with Miss Clara (Karen Abercrombie) - a Bible-thumping, feisty prayer warrior - she's trained to fight the right way: PRAYER!

War Room -a must-see! It's good for marriages, good for wives, good for husbands, and good for the soul!
