From Neckties to Tennis Shoes

Jesus said, "I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will believe in Me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as You and I are one - as You are in Me, Father, and I am in You. And may they be in us so that the world will believe You sent Me." (John 17:20-21 NLT)

One of the most delightful parts of the Mr. Greenleaf book reading tour is meeting wonderfully diverse brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Every place our feet have trod, Mr. Greenleaf and I have been welcomed and loved. What a sweet blessing! From neckties to tennis shoes, gospel hymns to praise choruses, we are all the Bride of Christ - His beloved Church. 

Jesus earnestly prayed for the unity of believers. O beloved, may we be ever so careful to always encourage one another and edify our sister churches and never criticize and tear down so that a lost, hopeless world may believe in Jesus name!
