When you meet somebody for the first time in the great, college-football state of Alabama, a standard question is: "So, which side are you on—Alabama or Auburn?" 

There's no middle ground.

Neither is there middle ground when it comes to the cross of Christ, beloved. Every soul is on one side or the other. Lost or saved.  Enemy or Friend. Which side are you on?
