"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." (1 John 3:18,16)
After our four-year-old-today (happy birthday, hot rod) grandboy raked a mountain of leaves, he cried, "Come on, Granddaddy!" And they jumped into the pile.
On this countdown to Christmas, beloved, let's put love into action. Jesus did and still does.
