Delay

"...If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed." (Habakkuk 2:3)

Because superman had to have minor surgery a few weeks ago, we postponed our September anniversary trip to October.

 

With that delay came sweatshirts and jeans, splashes of red, yellow, and pumpkin-orange under bright blue skies, and goldenrods and Black-eyed Susans waving in the meadows. 

Sometimes, beloved, delay is better than on time. Father God knows best! Trust Him.
