Standing Guard

 

Granddaddy, babygrand, and me

". . . [God] guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked." (Psalm 97:10)

Today is babygrand's second birthday. Because hiking through the woods and Paw Patrol are two of his favorite things, Memaw made him a Paw-Patrol-hike-through-the-lollipop-woods birthday cake.

Granddaddy and I would lay down our lives to guard this little fellow from the hand of the wicked. Come to think about it, Jesus already has. Selah.
