Day 10: Three Things to Pray for a World Gone Crazy

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

For a world gone crazy, I'm praying three things for all leaders — Democrats and Republicans, incoming authorities and those currently in office.

1. Father God, first and foremost, send fear of the Lord upon our leaders that they will do what is right!

2. Father God, give our leaders competence that they will know how to do what is right.

3. Father God, give our leaders protection that they will live to do what is right.

O Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For Your sake, my God, do not delay, for calamity and disaster are upon us! In Jesus' name I pray. Amen and amen!
