Road Trip

Jesus said, "But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:14)

Forty-four years ago today, I took a road trip from Fort Payne, Alabama to Auburn to pick up my husband-to-be. Two days later, I became Mrs. Phillip Glassco.

Atop the Mount of Olives over two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ told the crowd about the road trip of life: "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the way. But the gateway of life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it."

Beloved, the narrow way that leads to eternal life is found only by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Are you walking the highway to heaven or hell?
