New Life

"Don't copy the behavior and customs of the world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect!" (Rom. 12:2 NLT)
Yesterday, I saw so many butterflies along the Coosa River bank - all sizes and colors from small to large, pumpkin orange to sunshine yellow. This lovely blue lady graciously posed long enough for me to snap her photograph. It's hard to believe this beautiful creature once was a creepy-crawly caterpillar!
Second Corinthians 5:17 says that "anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
Today, as believers in Jesus Christ, may we no longer crawl around in the dark sins of the world, but choose to spread our wings and fly in the righteous power of new life in Christ Jesus!
