A Painless New World

Our sweet babygrand

"They shall be His people and God Himself will be with them, and wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more and never again shall there be sorrow or crying or pain. For all those former things are past and gone." (Rev. 21:4, J. B. Phillips New Testament)

           Our precious babygrand turned two months old yesterday, and today, bless his little heart, he got his first round of vaccinations. His sweet mommy or I would have gladly taken those shots for him to spare the little guy such pain and discomfort.

           In John 16:33, Jesus said that in this world we will have tribulation, but to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. The Bible tells us that one day God will make a new heaven and and new earth where there is no longer any pain or sorry or suffering or death - zero, zilch, none whatsoever for those belonging to Him through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. 

             Dear Christian, because Jesus suffered and died in our place, pain is temporary. In our eternity, all is well.

"The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen." (2 Tim. 4:18)
