Before the Judge

"You know of Jesus...how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and power...And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God Judge of the living and the dead." (Acts 10:38,42)

"I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is the Judge of the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word!" (2 Tim. 4:1-2)

Daddy was an avid quail hunter. One night. he dreamed he died and appeared before the judgment seat where twelve judges sat around a large table - and the judges were twelve, giant quail! In his dream, he muttered, "Oh no. I'm in trouble now." Ha!

Scripture warns that every soul that rejects God's Son, Jesus Christ, as Savior and Lord will at death stand before Jesus, the Judge, and be sentenced to the lake of fire - the second death. 

However, Scripture also reveals the Good News that every soul that believes on and knows Jesus in personal relationship will be co-heirs with Jesus, the Judge, and receive eternal life and reward.

And that's fact, not fiction.

Beloved, he who has an ear to hear, let him hear and heed today the truth of Scripture.

"Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For God knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish." (Psalm 1:5-6)
