The Family of God

“ And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are You (Jesus)…for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.’” (Rev. 5:9)

            The Lord has opened doors for several one-hour, women’s Bible studies in various neighborhoods around our city. We ladies may be diverse in nationality, language, or ethnicity; but we are all in them same family: the family of God, beloved sisters in Christ. For the Bible says…

            “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” says the Lord Almighty. (2 Cor. 6:18)

            For you are (children) of God through faith in Jesus Christ. (Gal. 3:26)

            See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; for such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know (Jesus).  (1 John 3:1)

            Whoever denies the Son (Jesus) does not have the Father, the one who confessed the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2:23)

            For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as (children) by which we cry out, “Abba Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. (Romans 8:15-16)

Are you in Father God's family through faith in Jesus Christ, His Son? If not, today He invites you to come as you are, confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9): adopted into the family of God.
