Small Beginnings

Today's beginnings of a "masterpiece" |
"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin..." (Zechariah 4:10)
Zechariah 4:10 blesses my socks off when it comes to the small beginnings of my children's books. It took Thomas Edison 1,001 attempts to invent the light bulb. When asked how it felt to fail 1,000 times, Edison replied, "I didn't fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps."
Got a God-assignment, beloved? Do not despise small beginnings, for Jesus is tickled pink to see the work begin. And God will make it happen, for He who calls you if faithful (1 Thess. 5:24).
