Our Radically Generous God

Snow skiing in the Grand Tetons with my Phillip Spring break, 1980 Jesus told them, "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." (Matt. 17:20)
A couple of weeks ago, I "heard" God's radically generous voice say that it was time to move The-Schoolhouse-books mountain collecting dust in our basement. In fourteen days, one hundred and twenty-five storybooks have been given away to one hundred and twenty-five smiling faces. How fun is that!
In the Bible Project's Gospel of Luke part 1 video, Tim Mackie describes God's upside-down Kingdom as marked by servant leadership, peacemaking, forgiveness, deep piety that rejects religious hypocrisy, and radical generosity.
Beloved, watch for opportunities every day to be radically generous. It's a Jesus-like thing to do!
