Our Radically Generous God

Jesus told them, "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." (Matt. 17:20)

A couple of weeks ago, I "heard" God's radically generous voice say that it was time to move The-Schoolhouse-books mountain collecting dust in our basement. In fourteen days, one hundred and twenty-five storybooks have been given away to one hundred and twenty-five smiling faces. How fun is that!

In the Bible Project's Gospel of Luke part 1 video, Tim Mackie describes God's upside-down Kingdom as marked by servant leadership, peacemaking, forgiveness, deep piety that rejects religious hypocrisy, and radical generosity.

Beloved, watch for opportunities every day to be radically generous. It's a Jesus-like thing to do!
