narrow footbridge
Great Smoky Mountains National Park

"But small is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:14)

Did you miss me? We took a road trip to the Cumberland Gap.

Visited my brother, Mark, and sister-in-law, Debra, and talked to First Priority third graders about Professor Sparrow and good choices.

Then met dear friends in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Today, I'm thanking the Lord Jesus for a wonderfully fun trip.

In His sermon on the mount, Jesus gave a sobering warning on the road trip of life:

"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

The small, narrow gate that leads to life eternal is none other than Jesus Christ Himself and only found by faith in Him—His death in your place and His resurrection.

Beloved, are you traveling the narrow way of eternal life in Jesus?
