If You're Happy and You Know It

"Shout JOYfully to the Lord, all the earth!" (Psalm 100:1)

Babygrand is quite the happy baby. As soon as he hears the song, "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands," he immediately claps his sweet, little hands and smiles. 

Oftentimes, life circumstances are not happy whatsoever; they're hard. 

However, 

for believers,

in God's presence is fullness of JOY and

at His right hand are pleasures forever (Psalm 16:11),

because

JOY is fruit of God, the Holy Spirit, in us (Galatians 5:22).

And

the Holy Spirit is in us

because

Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,

who for the JOY that was set before Him,

endured the cross...and has sat down

at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).

The JOY of Jesus is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Therefore,

beloved,

be JOYful in hope (Romans 12:12) on

happy days

and

hard ones.

For one glad, glorious day,

we will sing together,

"JOY to the world,

the LORD has come,

let earth receive her

KING!"
