"I would have despaired  unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the LORD." (Psalm 27:13-14)

Yesterday, I snapped this shot of the grandboy and Bell sitting quietly, waiting for Granddaddy to come home from work.

One of the many things Jesus has taught me in sixty-two years is to wait upon Him more quietly. The weapon Jesus gives me to fight worry, fear, jittery nervousness, fretful uneasiness, and anxiety is TRUST in Him.

Are you a basket case of heebie-jeebies waiting on the LORD, beloved? Resolve to believe that you will see the goodness of the LORD in this land of the living. Take heart and courageously trust in Jesus, our Savior, Friend, Provider, Protector, Teacher, Way-Maker, Lord of lords, and King of kings!
