Two Choices Open to Me

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)
My Rebecca and I are reading Gilead by Marilynne Robinson because it's one of our favorite author's favorite books. I found a jewel on page 126:
"I have decided the two choices open to me are: (1) to torment myself or (2) to trust the Lord."
Beloved, which choice will you make today?
