Hope Deferred

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is the tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12)

Cake baked. Groceries bought. Bags packed, but the girls' trip planned for months (three days in a cabin atop Lookout Mountain to celebrate my Aunt Mary Grace's 81st birthday) had to be postponed. Boo-hoo!

This I know:  I trust God is ordering our steps, and I thank Him.

Lord, please bless plan-B for Mary Grace's birthday and open a door for a future celebration trip!
