"The Lord appeared...from afar, saying, 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have drawn you with lovingkindness." (Jeremiah 31:3)
Why would anyone in their right mind rent a 4-wheel drive pickup and head north toward minus 4 degree temperatures and a foot of snow? For the love of KIDS AND GRANDKIDS!
Why would God in His righteous mind give up His divine privileges, leave the glory of heaven, be born as a man, and die a criminal's death on a cross? For the love of YOU and ME!
Beloved Christian, God is crazy in love with you!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus] that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life!" (John 3:16)
