our grandson, "Flash"
Fastest 6-year-old on two, little legs

"The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone, and a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense." (1 Peter 2:7-8 NKJV)

On the way home from church Wednesday night, our granddaughter said that one of her leaders is going to be in the background of a real movie. Our six-year-old grandson replied, "Does that mean she's going to be a stone or something?"

In 1 Peter 2:4, Peter describes Jesus as the living cornerstone rejected by people but precious in God's sight. Dr. Henrietta Mears wrote: "Everyone in this world has to do something with this "Stone," Jesus Christ. He is in every person's path. We can lift Him up and put Him in as the chief Cornerstone of our lives...But if we do not, we must stumble headlong over Him, tragically, to our death."

Beloved, what have you done with Jesus - God's precious, living Stone? Your choice is a matter of life or death.

"Behold, I lay in Zion a chief Cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame." (1 Peter 2:6 NKJV))
