Kymulga Covered Bridge
Built in 1861 across Talledega Creek
Childersburg, AL

"I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations." (Psalm 89:1)

Toddler-grand gets so excited when he comes to the farm that it's hard to get him down for an afternoon nap. Put him in the car, however, and he's out like a light before we get to the end of Chancellor Ferry Road.

Last Saturday, I volunteered for nap-duty and on our drive discovered the beautiful Kymulga Covered Bridge and Grist Mill built in the 1860's.

This old U.S. bridge has faithfully stood through the generations of the Civil War, World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, Vietnam War, 9/11, War on Terrorism, and civil unrest in America today.

All the more,
Jesus Christ
faithfully stands
with every generation
from the beginning
to the end
of time.

Beloved, make known the faithfulness of God to the next generation.
