"As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins...But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved." (Eph. 2:1,5)

When our beloved pet died in 1988, our little Rebecca wrote the obituary:

Scripture teaches that all have sinned. All are dead. Everyone. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom. 6:23). Jesus said, "Because I live, you will live also" (John 14:6).

Beloved, are you dead or alive? "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Rom. 10:13,9)
