Three One-Dollar Bills

"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of [Father] God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." (2 Corinthians 13:14)

A group of men in north Alabama got together this Christmas and gave a single mom a much-needed minivan. In the mother's heartfelt thank you note, she stuck three one-dollar bills. When they tried to return the money, she said, "No. That's my offering - 

one for the Father, 

one for Jesus Christ, the Son, 

and one for the Holy Spirit.

Dearly beloved, may meeting others' needs and sacrificial offerings to God define 2018 for you and for me. Amen?
