Interruptible

Alas, our unmade bed!

"Immediately they left their nets and followed Him." (Mark 1:18)


I confess. I'm a type-A, concrete sequential creature of habit that practically never, ever leaves the house without first making our bed. Today, a Jesus-assignment interrupted my routine.

In the gospel of Mark chapter 1, as Jesus walked along the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew throwing nets into the water. Jesus called to them, "Come, follow Me, and I will show you how to fish for people!" At once, the fishermen left their nets and followed the Son of God.

Beloved, be interruptible. When Jesus calls, follow - pronto!
