Toddlergrand in the sand

"Then God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then  He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day" and the darkness "night." And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day." (Gen. 1:3-4)

After church yesterday, toddlergrand and I played and played and played in a sand pile at the river cabin under a bright, blue October sky. O what a glorious day!

Each day, beloved, is God's new creation. Spend it with praise!

Mine is the sunlight! Mine is the morning
Born of the one light Eden saw play!
Praise with elation, Praise ev'ry morning,
God's recreation of the new day! 1
