Patiently Waiting

Satsuma tree

"Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord's return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen." (James 5:7)

My Phillip planted satsuma trees at the river farm last spring, and six months later the succulent, deliciously sweet fruit is ripe for harvest.

Waiting on your prayers to bear fruit, beloved? Be patient. Jesus knows the perfect when for His sweet answer.

(And by the way, I am deeply grateful for every faithful, fervent prayer offered on my behalf. Today's MRI results were inconclusive. PET scan next week. The wild goose chase continues!)
