Walk

My grandbabies

“I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in truth.”

       3 John 4

All through the pages of Scripture, God tells His children to walk:

Walk as children of Light (Eph. 5:8)

Walk by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7)

We are creatures designed for forward motion,

Walk by the Spirit (Gal. 5:25)

Walk in the Light (1 John 1:7)

Walk in My ways (1 King 3:14)

…not stagnation.

Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord (Col. 1:10)

              Walk after (God’s) commandments (2 John 6)

When we get tired, God says, “RUN!”

“…let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith…” Heb. 12:1-2 NLT

Because

“Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
 They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NLT
